Decently Striking was founded in the first decade of the 21.Century by JW. Bying an old Boss Drum Computer in the late 90´s JW first experienced the possibilty of making electronic music. Being influenced by electronic music ever since JW started first sound experiments.
After discovering the potential of making music by using software like logic, reason, etc. JW started to work more precise on his own sound. Making rock music since the age of 14 the output was dark and aggressiv with a little potion of madness.
After Ian Aux joined Decently Striking round abaout 2001/2002 things changed. Melting their musical horizons they created a huge output of muzak while developing their skills. By the influence of Ian the sound became squashier.
Nowerdays the sound of Decently Striking is somewhere between house, techno, minimal, funk and sometimes rock. The members of Decently Striking don´t commit to a certain style of music but only to the beat.
